Description
Nexedi has developed in collaboration with Beremiz an integrated industrial automation solution based on edge computing technologies and compatible with OPC-UA, PLCOpen, IEC-62541, TSN, etc. This solution is now available in a product called "edgePOD" for industrial edge computing.
We now want to demonstrate the functioning of this solution and industrialize it.
We are looking for developers interested in one of the following topics
- Industrializing the deployment and testing of Beremiz ;
- Industrialize the deployment of OPC-UA couplers;
- Verify the proper functioning of the TSN network with time measurement tools;
- Build a model production line (portable if possible) for demonstration purposes;
- Integrate AI and vision functions to the couplers.
Responsibilities
- Help liberate industrial automation
- Enhance our open source software stack to support real-time and OPC/UA
- Integrate industrial safety requirements into edge computing
Opportunities
- Fullstack and devops development (C, C++, Python, buildout)
- Contribute to open source hardware and software projects for industrial automation
- Contribute to complex open source software solutions
- Learn real time with PREEMPT_RT, PTP and TSN
